A search for a specific person can be made in the LVA database. Use the Latvian alphabet and diacritic marks.

A search can be done by:

- name, surname, father’s name,
- year of birth,
- district or parish,
- all districts and parishes.

By entering the person search list and clicking on a name/surname, it is possible to obtain detailed information regarding the person’s:

- name, surname, father’s name,
- year of birth,
- LVA file number,
- address, from which the person was deported.

The database at the State Archives of Latvia contains information about 15,443 people deported from Latvia on June 14, 1941.
